The Matt Hampson Foundation inspires and supports young people seriously injured through sport through its unique Get Busy Living centre in rural Leicestershire. The centre provides expert physiotherapy, specialist personal training, support, mentoring and advice to people suffering a life-changing injury. The centre’s doors were opened in 2018 by Founder and ex-England and Leicester Tigers rugby player Matt Hampson, who himself experienced a life-changing injury in 2005.
The Foundation helps people with life-changing injuries to 'get busy living' again - whether that is helping them back into sport or supporting them in adapting to their new life.
Beneficiaries come from all over the UK to become part of the community at the unique Get Busy Living Centre. By becoming part of the community, beneficiaries are able to draw on the experience and knowledge of people who have been on the same journey. They develop the tools and skills they need to move on as they start to rebuild their lives.
The Get Busy Living centre is such an inspirational and welcoming place to be. I feel very honoured to know people at the Matt Hampson Foundation and be able to help such an inspiring Foundation that gives people the support and opportunity to rebuild their lives.
All money raised will continue to enrich existing and future beneficiaries at a time in their lives when they need it most.
